Track Your Visiters

I have been using Statcounter.com for some time now on my blogs. This is a free site counter that works very well. What’s cool about it to me is the invisible counter that can be used so visitors to your site do not see any thing, but it is tracking activity like any other counter would. You can check your stats from their web site to see how your sites are doing. You can set up an unlimited number of blogs or web sites with Statcounter.

If you decide to use their service just sign up and log in.

1. After logging in click on the Add New Project link at the top

2. The next page will show you Projects settings, fill in the info as requested, if you don’t know your I.P address you can use Google to look it up. You should enter the I.P. so you do not track your own visits. You will get a log size of 500 visitors with the free service, when you reach 500, just make a new code and start again, it’s easy. Do not check public stats if you want invisible tracker.

3. Just follow the instructions at each step, it’s easy to do. On the last step you copy the code and go to Layout tab for the Blogger site you are working on. I like to put the code at the bottom of the page so I click on Add Gadgets and select HTML from the menu, then just past code.
